Who are you?
Christian technologist. Passionate to develop, apply and leverage technology in spiritual warfare.

What makes you a Digital Disciple?
I spend a minimum of 8 hours a day hanging out on Twitter harvesting encouragement, humor, and useful content. I don’t use ‘bots’ to harvest friends or content. I simply compile the tweets and blogs that spoke to my heart and feature them on my own daily blog to share how others have blessed me throughout the day.

What website or technology has impacted you most?
I have developed a Facebook application that makes it possible to promote my daily blog beyond “Friends and Fans”. I ask users to opt in to the app to give me permission to post a daily short promo with a link to my blog to their Facebook wall – thus exposing the message to THEIR Facebook friends. With less than a dozen opt ins my daily promo now reaches a potential audience of over 5000. Now that’s LEVERAGE!

How do you express your faith through technology?
For months I tried to market my “killer app”. I slaved to produce videos that proclaimed how my Facebook app was a no-brainer to catapult your ministry into orbit. I pounded it on Twitter. It was a disaster. On Dec 24, 2010 I turned my failure over to God and asked Him to bless it in spite of my selfishness. At the same time I committed to sharing blessings with others expecting nothing in return.

Who are you?
I’m a Husband, a Servant & a Blogger with Passions to Share the Love of Jesus, to encourage & to help Ministries, Churches & Businesses with Social Media design & Branding.

What makes you a Digital Disciple?
I love social networking and connecting. I think modern day communications & technology is much needed and useful in today’s culture to reach the masses with the Gospel and to connect with those you would never meet in a lifetime!

What website or technology has impacted you most?
Twitter, Facebook & Blogs! ALL 3 are a way to connect and make friends with people all over the world…who you can share Jesus and your passions with.

How has your faith grown or been tested through technology?
I have learned so much being able to read blogs, posts & tweets of wonderful people who know the Word of God and share their knowledge, wisdom and encouragement in the things of the Lord and technology.

Who are you?
I’m a girl whose heart is the place where faith, art, worship, the Church, and relationships collide.

What makes you a Digital Disciple?
I believe in the power of technology to connect people and foster relationships. While it always has to be taken offline, the online allows connection to happen.

What website or technology has impacted you most?
I’d probably have to say Twitter simply from a relationship aspect. I’ve met some incredible people and been able to stay in touch with others through it.

How has your faith grown or been tested through technology?
For me it’s been a lesson in learning discipline…learning to turn off the noise and spend some time with God. I think technology makes it easy to turn to people for assurance and identity when God is the one we should be turning to for that.

Who are you?
I’m a husband, father, a follower of Jesus and the Bible is my compass for living. After 20 years of military service and eight years as a health educator in health care and YMCA settings, I’ve stepped out as the Founder of Faith and Health Connection to teach people biblical principles for health and wholeness.

What makes you a Digital Disciple?
Almost daily I use Twitter to send out tweets of affirmation based on scripture. I share the gospel though content on my site and in my blog posts. As Vice President of Christian Coach Institute, I assist my wife in training Christian Life Coaches in a Webinar format in our life coach courses.

What website or technology has impacted you most?
Using WordPress. With the help of my son and a few other professionals, I’ve been able to learn this tool pretty well to build and maintain my website and blog.

How has your faith grown or been tested through technology?
I have a fairly good dose of ADD tendencies and the web can sometimes pull me in too easily. I have to discipline myself so as not to spend too much time exploring sites for information, beyond what I am actually looking for. When I spend more time than really needed on the internet, it takes me away from what i could be doing for the Kingdom of God.

My steadfast belief that Jesus is the first and the last along with my fascination with technology and all things geek. I have a new twitter profile: @M773R to help spread the good news. I support “Wear it Wednesday” (www.wearitwednesday.com) which was started by Chelsea Eubank (@faithfulfish) and has over 600,000 people signed up.

What website or technology has impacted you most?
Technology: Social Media and social networking are rapidly making proximity irrelevant and increasing connections exponentially. Blogging has leveled the playing field and made everyone who wants to be a publisher.  Mobile technology will be the next great wave.  I don’t have an iPhone (yet) but all three of my kids do.  5 out of 7 billion people on the planet are mobile subscribers today and the percentage of those subscribers who use smart phones is rapidly increasing.  Just today the first programmable nanoprocessor was announced. The combination of smaller computer circuits, greatly increased memory capacity, broadband, and mobile tech will change our world rapidly and drastically. Websites: John Saddington’s Church Crunch, www.churchcrunch.com and Michael Hyatt’s Intentional Leadership, www.michaelhyatt.com.

How has your faith grown or been tested through technology?
Growth: through technology and science we continually reveal more of God’s creation and it’s complexity.  Tested: Keeping focus on our dance with God while not letting the steps get in the way.
