Who are you?
I am a sysadmin and Linux geek who lives in Columbus, OH.  I also blog for geardiary.com and am a member of the Linux Link Tech Show.  Write occasional posts on Linux for Christians.

What makes you a Digital Disciple?
I love God first and foremost.  The next is technology be it a mp3 player, a new laptop or a new server I love setting them all up.  My next step is to help others do the same and do it for God as well.

What website or technology has impacted you most?
My Kindle and my Smartphone running the Kindle App.  It’s through the Kindle that I do a lot of reading for both personal purposes as well kingdom purposes.

How has your faith grown or been tested through technology?
Grown.  Without my Kindle, I just don’t feel like I can study the word as effectively as I do now.

Who are you?
I am a sinner totally depraved but by Grace totally saved. I’m also a Minister with a passion for deep love for people, especially youth and young adults. I serve as the IT Ministry Leader at my church, as well as a Youth Advisor, Christian Board of Education member, and on a few other ministries. My tent making is done as an IT Support Analyst for a large OEM and logistic company. I provide desktop/network support and dig into some technical writing, too.

What makes you a Digital Disciple?
Along with my love for people, I have a passion for technology. I find myself astonished at the numerous platforms for preaching the Gospel through technology. Among other things, a disciple is a steward. I steward technology.

What website or technology has impacted you most?
I am a Google Enthusiast, and their Android Mobile OS is nothing short of superb. It’s really helped me stay organized, connected, and prepared.

How do you express your faith through technology?
My faith has both grown and been tested through technology. It’s been tested due to the countless channels of sexual temptation. There is so much free costly sin on the internet…free because it doesn’t cost a dime; costly because it will cost you your witness. By Grace, my faith has grown through technology, because ultimately technology is another platform to proclaim this wondrous Gospel of Jesus the Christ. God has used Facebook, Twitter, and my blog to tell a dying world about a living Savior.

Who are you?
I am a corporate tech refugee turned compassionary. I build bridges between people, concepts and causes. I have a heart for the underdog, the technologically uninformed and the invisible.

What makes you a Digital Disciple?
I’ve embraced my inner geek, at least professionally I’ve always worked on the cutting edge…ahead of the curve, actually. I see tremendous opportunity for those gifted in this area for blessing the body of Christ with their knowledge & expertise. Without arrogance, with simplicity. Building bridges.

What website or technology has impacted you most?
By far, Twitter has connected me to Christians around the country I never knew existed.

How do you express your faith through technology?
The lure of online relationships cutting into family time and other priorities is always a constant struggle.

Who are you?
My name is Andrew Kelsall, and I’m a Christian-based Graphic Designer here in England. I hold a BA Degree in Graphic Design and author 4 blogs. My main ones are the self-titled Andrew Kelsall Design and my Sub-blog, Christian Graphic Design. I am a member of Hope House Church, which I attend in Barnsley, northern England.

What makes you a Digital Disciple?
I love to use my God-given design skills to serve the Christian ministry in any way that I am able. I mostly produce web design and logo work for churches that get in touch with me online.

I also just started to design free Christian wallpapers for desktops and iPads, etc. I also use sites such as Dribbble to help spread the good news of the Gospel with design works.

Offline, I mainly produce large format works for both secular and Christian clients.

What website or technology has impacted you most?
Wordpress blogs. It’s amazing how this platform has the potential to reach so many people through plain and simple SEO and writing great content. I love Macs, too, and using them helps the creative process which helps me to conceptualize and create design works.

How do you express your faith through technology?
My faith hasn’t grown through using technology, rather God has used technology to have a positive impact on me. For example, for the past year I can’t get enough of the ESV online Study Bible via the internet and App. I’ve read more of Gods’ Word in the past year than in my entire 2 decades+ as a Christian!

Another example is last year, I was in really bad spiritual-shape (so to speak) and needed a word from God. Suddenly, a man from the States emailed me a prophesy about my life which was a real life saver.

God isn’t limited…

Who are you?
I’m an Artist and Illustrator who uses technology as an artistic aid and networking tool. In this day and age you have to embrace technology or be left behind by it.

What makes you a Digital Disciple?
My goal in this world is to show the world the talents God gave me and grow his kingdom through my work.

What website or technology has impacted you most?
My Adobe programs and my Wacom Tablet. Also social networking is ridiculous for the kingdom, if used properly.

How do you express your faith through technology?
I try and make sure that no matter what I post on Facebook, Twitter, my Blog, or Website, it is ethical, creative, and enriches the lives of believers. Don’t we all just wanna spread the word!
